Are KrisFlyer no-show and mileage-redeposit fees charged together?
Yes. Singapore Airlines states that a no-show fee is additional to other applicable charges, including mileage redeposit. Calculate the cabin-based no-show charge separately from the award-type redeposit charge. A no-show does not turn the published fees into a guarantee that an expired or partially used award can be refunded.
What this answer depends on
- Valid, wholly unused KrisFlyer award or redemption ticket after a voluntary no-show, where a refund is otherwise permitted.
- Published redeposit fees are USD 75 for Saver and USD 50 for Advantage or Access, subject to valid miles and a completely unused valid ticket.
- The published no-show fees are USD 100 in Economy, USD 200 in Premium Economy and USD 300 in Business or First.
- The no-show fee is charged in addition to other applicable fees; offline service charges can also apply under separate conditions.
Important exceptions
- Charges are volatile and must be rechecked before payment. The source’s local-currency equivalent uses Singapore Airlines’ applicable exchange rate. Airline-caused disruptions and other exceptions are outside this voluntary no-show analysis.
