Ethiopian baggage allowance: identify whether the ticket uses pieces or weight

An allowance shown for one route or cabin cannot simply be transferred to another. The checked-baggage provision on the ticket should be matched to the relevant route table. Write down the cabin, itinerary, ticketed allowance, and every packed bag’s weight. Check whether the allowance is expressed as pieces or kilograms before comparing your packing. For a connecting journey, ask which provisions apply to the full ticket and whether a separate ticket creates another baggage check. Keep the confirmed allowance with your receipt and request a quote for anything above it. The retrieved page gives conflicting cabin-bag depth measurements in different sections, so this answer deliberately does not publish a settled carry-on dimension. Obtain that measurement directly for the intended flight rather than using either conflicting figure as a guaranteed fit.
