Can I change an Iberia flight on the same day?

Check whether your ticket is an Air Shuttle fare or an ordinary Iberia fare. On the Madrid–Barcelona Air Shuttle, Comfort includes free schedule changes on the day of the flight; its changes on other days are subject to a fare difference. Flexible Air Shuttle has broader flexibility. Do not apply those product-specific benefits to every Iberia ticket, even one between the same cities. For other fares, retrieve the booking and inspect its change conditions. Iberia’s online change service has no management fee, but fare restrictions, penalties or a price difference can still matter. Ask whether the proposed departure qualifies for a same-day benefit before paying an ordinary exchange quote. The normal online flow changes all travelers in the reservation. Contact the servicing team first when only some passengers are moving or the booking has an online restriction, such as certain Avios cases. Agency tickets should go back to the issuing agency. After the transaction, check the new ticket and remaining flights. A fare benefit does not by itself confirm a seat on your chosen departure. What to do next Identify the exact fare product, especially Comfort or Flexible Air Shuttle. Check the desired same-day departure and whether all travelers must change. Confirm the transaction and inspect the replacement ticket. Who this applies to Air Shuttle benefits apply to the named Madrid–Barcelona products, not all Iberia tickets. Other fares follow their own change terms. Before you confirm Seats, deadlines and handling of checked-in or restricted bookings must be checked for the actual trip.
