When online check-in opens 48 hours before departure, the airline describes remaining selection without an advance-selection charge; do not turn that into a promise that every seat product or preferred location will be available free. Consider the cost of changing your mind before paying. On the same unchanged flight, Singapore’s terms do not refund an earlier seat-selection fee or apply it toward a new selection. Review the new charge rather than assuming your original payment becomes a credit.
