Finnair pushchairs: cabin or checked carriage

Children and infants may bring a foldable pushchair, including on Economy Light or Superlight.

Important unknowns

  • The source does not establish the outcome of an individual request. Confirm current instructions with the airline; the effective date of these provisions is not established.

What to do next

  1. Identify the account

For cabin carriage, check folded size and weight against current cabin limits. It counts as one carryon bag; the accompanying small bag goes underseat. Superlight allows the pushchair free alongside its included small bag. A seatless infant gains no ordinary separate bag allowance.

  2. Use the official recovery route

Larger pushchairs check free. If yours disassembles, separate it into two parts and protect each with a plastic bag or other covering.

  3. Keep your request focused

Thin protective bags are available at Helsinki Airport's check-in desks; pack protection beforehand at other airports.
