Copa refund by bank transfer: prepare the applicant and payment documents

Use this checklist when Copa requires a bank transfer for a ticket refund. The ticket holder or payer can request a refund with satisfactory purchase proof; fare rules still determine eligibility.

Important unknowns

  • The source does not establish the outcome of an individual request. Confirm current instructions with the airline; the effective date of these provisions is not established.

What to do next

  1. Identify the account

Prepare national identity card or passport copies for the applicant and every passenger, bank certification and the completed bank-transfer requirements form.

  2. Use the official recovery route

For a United States request, also provide a voided check or savings-account certification. If payment will go to an agency or another person, include the passengers' authorization letter.

  3. Keep your request focused

Use the forms linked from Copa's refund page. Check the applicant, tickets and authorized recipient agree before submitting. Supplying these documents does not establish refund approval.
