Buy a Copa extra seat for personal space: arrange both assignments and baggage

Arrange the purchase through Copa's call center or sales office. The extra seat costs the full applicable adult fare for the portion of the trip where you use it. To buy it at the same fare as your own ticket, purchase both together.

Important unknowns

  • The source does not establish the outcome of an individual request. Confirm current instructions with the airline; the effective date of these provisions is not established.

What to do next

  1. Identify the account

Request assignments for both seats so the airline can arrange contiguous seating. With Basic fares, seat-selection fees apply to both tickets.

  2. Use the official recovery route

Each ticket carries its fare's checked-baggage allowance; the carry-on allowance is not doubled.

  3. Keep your request focused

Get a quote covering the extra ticket and both seat assignments. Confirm the baggage allowance before paying.
