Air New Zealand Skynest and OneUp: check everyone on the booking

Before placing a OneUp bid, check whether anyone on your Air New Zealand booking already has Skynest. If one passenger has it, nobody on that booking may place a OneUp bid for the flight.

Important unknowns

  • The source does not establish the outcome of an individual request. Confirm current instructions with the airline; the effective date of these provisions is not established.

What to do next

  1. Identify the account

Skynest is an add-on for the named traveler; it does not replace their allocated seat and cannot be shared. Sessions and nest allocations can change or be cancelled, so review the actual confirmation when assessing your plans.

  2. Use the official recovery route

The traveler must be at least 15. A Skynest booking cannot leave infants or children under 12 unattended.

  3. Keep your request focused

If your group now wants cabin upgrades, ask the airline which changes are possible before altering Skynest. Check any proposed arrangement and charges before accepting it.
